Marko Đuković
Director of Research & Engineering, Schneider Electric
Marko Đuković, born on September 27, 1985, in Pljevlja, Montenegro, is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and computer science. He completed his primary and secondary education in Šabac and went on to pursue higher education at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, specializing in Mechatronics (Computer Science, Robotics, and Automation).
In 2009, Marko graduated with a master’s thesis focusing on “Windows Mobile software support solution for managing the auction process of electricity trade” from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Novi Sad. Subsequently, he completed his doctoral dissertation in 2019 with a thesis on “Analysis of tools for changing the comprehensibility of programs based on the energy efficiency of execution” at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad.
Throughout his career, Marko has garnered significant professional experience and achievements:
- Winner of the “Dositeja” award, a recognition from the fund for young talents of the Republic of Serbia in 2008.
- Worked as a development engineer at “Telvent DMS” in the field of electricity management and trade from 2009 to 2010.
- Joined “Schneider Electric DMS NS” in 2010 as a development engineer and subsequently assumed the role of Head of the team for base calculations of the transmission network, where he worked until 2019.
- From 2019 to April 2022, he served as the Manager for ADMS EMS Product Development at Schneider Electric, overseeing a team of 60 people.
- Later, from April 2022 to August 2022, he held the position of Manager for the development of tools for continuous delivery and improvement of the ADMS product process (DevOps) at Schneider Electric Hub, managing a team of 80 people.
- On September 1st, 2022, he was promoted to the position of “Director of Research & Engineering” at Schneider Electric, where he leads the provision of software engineering services globally within the group.
Additionally, Marko is a certified scrum master, proficient in English and German, and has authored several scientific papers in the field of computer science. Beyond his professional pursuits, he has a passion for music, football, and snooker.
