Igor Peško is a highly accomplished construction professional with extensive expertise in civil engineering and project construction management. He serves as a Full Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, where he oversees scientific research, teaching, and international cooperation. With over 18 years of experience, Igor has successfully delivered projects across government, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors, serving in various roles such as project manager, consultant, and expert witness.

His academic journey includes a DSc in Civil Engineering and a BEng/MEng from the University of Novi Sad. He has made notable contributions as a member of technical commissions for the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure, and serves as a mentor and commission member at the Serbian Chamber of Engineers.

Igor is also an active member of several professional associations, including his role as President of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Serbia Chapter and a Board Member of the National BIM Association “BIM Serbia.”

Igor’s areas of expertise encompass cost analysis, BIM, AI in construction, and Lean Construction, and he is recognized for his training in FIDIC contracts and project management. His blend of academic excellence and hands-on industry experience makes him a thought leader in the field of construction and project management.
