Dr. Miroslav Marjanović

Dr. Miroslav Marjanović is Associate Professor in Theory of Structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade. He obtained his PhD degree in 2016 in the field of computational modeling of multilayer structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade.

Prof. Marjanović has 14 years of teaching experience in higher education. He (co)authored more than 20 journal and more than 30 conference papers in the field of computational modeling in structural engineering.

His wide research interests include: theories of laminar composites, nonlinear structural analysis, numerical (finite element and dynamic stiffness) methods, among others. He also serves as a reviewer in more than 30 international journals.

So far, Miroslav participated in 5 national and international research projects. At the moment, he is a leader of the WP3: Numerical simulations and metamodeling of the Substrate4CLT project. During 2021-2024, he served as a Vice-Dean for Science and Research at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade. He is a member of Serbian Society of Mechanics, Association of Structural Engineers of Serbia and Serbian Chamber of Engineers.
